Basically Auto SMS Program

1. Program description

Basically Auto is a DBA of Coverage Key Auto LLC. The Basically Auto SMS Program delivers consumer guides and explanations about usage-based auto insurance programs. Messages explain mileage tracking, braking and acceleration measurements, mobile telematics apps, program terminology, app permissions, and privacy considerations. Subscribers who join the Basically Auto Updates receive these lessons one short message at a time. The program does not send quotes, applications, eligibility decisions, agent outreach, provider matching, referrals, or partner marketing.

2. Message categories

• Account Notifications: I agree to receive account notifications text messages from Basically Auto related to my subscription, such as guide delivery, content access updates, opt-in confirmations, opt-out confirmations, and replies to HELP requests, sent to the mobile number I provided. Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms of Service. Basically Auto does not sell, share, or transfer phone numbers or consent data to insurance carriers, agents, brokers, lead aggregators, or third-party marketers.
• Marketing: I agree to receive recurring marketing SMS messages from Basically Auto, including promotional offers, announcements about new guides, resources, and features, featured website resources, special campaigns, and updates about newly available guides and tools. Message frequency varies, generally up to 4 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. My information will not be sold, shared, or transferred to any insurance carrier, agent, broker, or third-party marketer. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms of Service. Consent is not a condition of receiving the guide or any other content.

Each category is consented to separately and neither is bundled with the other.

3. Opt-in method

You join by checking the box for a specific message category on our subscribe page and providing a valid mobile number. All boxes are unchecked by default. Providing a phone number alone is not consent, and accepting the Terms of Use is not consent.

4. Message frequency

• Account Notifications: Message frequency varies based on account activity.
• Marketing: Generally up to 4 messages per month.

6. STOP instructions

Reply STOP to any message to end that program. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages for that program unless you opt in again.

8. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you submit. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed on all carriers.

Information collected for the SMS Program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Mobile opt-in data

Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be sold, shared, rented, released, or transferred to third parties for marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes.

11. Changes to these SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms. The effective date above will change when we do, and material changes to the program will be described before they take effect where practical.
