Distance
Mileage
How trips start, stop, and get counted toward distance.
Estimated annual mileage is a figure you provide. Measured mileage is what a program records. They rarely match exactly.
Programs detect a trip's start and end using movement thresholds, so short hops can merge and long idles can split one drive into two.
Distance also depends on whether the program counts trips where you were a passenger rather than the driver.
